Welcome to Red Daisy Studio!
I have been creating custom and one-of-a-kind jewelry since 2001. I love the challenge of creating unique items for my clients and especially like to use recycled and upcycled components in my work.
I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Business Administration and the University of Iowa College of Law. I moved to Omaha, Nebraska and practiced as a corporate attorney in a large firm for eight years. After my second daughter was born, I decided to "retire" from practicing law in order to spend time at home with my daughters. I started creating jewelry and working with sterling silver as a hobby and it quickly grew into a business. I am fortunate that my business has grown and I am able to do what I love.
My business and my kids keep me pretty busy but I am also active in the Omaha community. I have served on the Board of Directors for YWCA Omaha and chaired several annual fund raising events for Voices for Children of Nebraska and for local schools. I have also volunteered for Camp Fire USA and donated to countless charitable events. Currently, I am serving on the fund raising council for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Nebraska.
